04 Duality & Polarization

The polarization of inner and outer creates a territory of beingness that the human experience is an exploration of. The separation between inner and outer is an illusion — your outer and inner selves are two ends of the same self.

The realization of your wider spiritual nature is not about ‘transcending’ the illusion and leaving physicality. You did not come to this reality in order to discover it as flawed and then leave. Here is where the most adventurous explorers of consciousness come.

Within the marriage of the inner and outer, which can only be experienced through the release of fear that fuels survival, lays the evolution of the human experience of self, as well as a return to the kind of reality we experienced before ‘this world became so charged by fear.

Physicality is a quality of experience that any non-physical ‘thing’ (such as a beingness, an idea, a feeling, or an imagining) can be experienced through. It is not that something either is or isn’t physical. Everything in existence can be experienced both as physical or non-physical.

One of the biggest keys to self-empowerment is learning to appreciate ALL the emotional experiences that life has to offer instead of dividing them (and consequently yourself) into good and bad experiences.

Our deepest block is our fear of exploring our shadow-side. The core spiritual teaching of ‘know thyself’ is not just an instruction to know what you deem to be the best of you, it is to know All That You Are which includes your shadow-side.

Spiritual awakening has many facets, but at its heart it is about unpolarizing your perception.
